My Baby Boy Is One

How did this past year go by so fast. I can't even imagine life without our Baby D. He has been very delightful his first year. The girls absolutely adore him.

I posted this video back when we announced we were having a boy.

Tait & Bethany, Tobi & Ron

After our summer family reunion with the Smiths we stayed in Prescott with my brother Tait, wife Bethany, and their kids. We were able to meet my sister Tobi's fiance, Ron, for the first time. We had lots of fun enjoying the cabin and time with family. I took some family photos for Tait and Bethany and engagement photos for Tobi and Ron.

Brooklyn Turns 6 (6 months ago)

So my first born, numero uno, B girl, burger bum, Brooklyn has turned 6. She is my favorite Brooklyn in the whole wide world. I can't believe how fast time has flown with her. I could not have asked for a more loving and patient sister for her younger siblings. She can be a big help around the house and also a great distracter. She loves to organize games for her siblings and also for the family. Her deep thoughts and imagination are very entertaining. I love her so much.

My Kids Bedroom

So remember a long time ago when I started decorating my kids' room. It is still an ongoing process however it is looking more and more like a complete room. I could not be happier with how things are coming together. If you have any thoughts on what can be added or changed feel free to share. Here are before and middle. Here is now what we have in their room. Click on the image to read the description in full from flickr.

Summer Duck Creek Reunion

Okay seriously I know I have completely slacked on my blogging. We have had a lot going on since summer time. I don't think there has been a weekend since we were back from AZ that we could just sit. We were all going in two different directions with work, school, photography, gymnastics, and the list could go on. Here is my attempt the next few weeks to update the blog. Hold on to your hats because it is going to be a great ride.

We had a blast this summer in Duck Creek, UT for our Third Annual Smith Family Reunion. I love the family I was so blessed to marry into. I could not have asked for a better family. I love being with them just as much as my own family. We have so much fun just hanging out and playing in the dirt. It always feels as if we just continue the conversations we had with one another last time we were together even though it will be months between each meeting. Here are a few photos taken from the reunion.
Here is proof that this family has moves. We really know how to shake it. No worries ladies I will not post the Women video.
Brandon and his brothers Ryan and Dustin decided to recreate a childhood skit they did as kids.
They did not realize how much it would mean to their parents.
So Crystal might kill me for posting this but I can't talk about the reunion without talking about "Don't give me no juice no juice. Just give me that milk, moo, moo, moo, moo." She was stupendous at singing and dancing to this song. She also did a great job organizing all the fun.
Brooklyn spent most of the time getting dirty. I think there were some clothes that never recovered from the red Utah dirt.
Brandon had a blast taking his girls on the four wheeler.
This is the Coleman family. We are lucky to have them live near us. Somehow they managed to stay clean on the ranger.
I love this photo. This is my sister in law Ashlee. She does not have freckles that is dirt. Even covered in dirt she is beautiful.
We took the opportunity to get cleaned up and have a photographer come up the mountain to take photos of our family.
We had a blast and can't wait for the next reunion.
